CAPITAN HOOK'S SHIP, "PETER PAN'S FLIGHT" RIDE
Modeled after an old sailing galleon, Captain Hook's ship is seen by visitors "flying" above during the ride, and absolutely had to look authentic. However, due to the enormous size of Captain Hook's ship, this required the design and structure to be modular, with components of sufficiently small size to be shippable and to be brought into the facility for installation. Additional design considerations included maintenance and emergency access, where certain portions needed to be moved and manageable by maintenance personnel, quickly and easily.
The ship also housed animatronic figures and a rear-projection screen sail.
